Terms of Service

1 Your account

You need a verified email and must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use GeoMine. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. One account per person, please.

2 GM Points

GM Points are a promotional reward credit we issue. To be clear about what they are — and aren’t:

• They are not money, not a token or cryptocurrency, and have no cash value outside of redeeming for a Visa gift card.
• They are not transferable between accounts and can’t be bought, sold, or combined.
• The conversion rate is fixed at 1,000 GM = $1, with a $5 minimum to redeem.
• We may expire long-dormant points or adjust earning rates going forward, with notice.

3 Earning & verified visits

You earn points for genuine, GPS-verified visits to participating businesses during their open hours. To keep things fair for everyone:

• Earning only runs while you’re physically present and a mining session is active.
• Daily caps apply per spot, and your rate depends on your plan and the business’s tier.
• We may withhold or reverse points we believe were earned through error, abuse, or fraud.

4 Redemptions

You can redeem points for a Visa virtual gift card ($5, $10, $25, or $50), fulfilled by Tremendous and delivered to your verified email. A few guardrails keep redemptions safe:

• A 7-day account age is required before your first redemption.
• A rolling $599 per 365 days limit per person, and one redemption per 24 hours.
• Once issued, gift cards are governed by the card issuer’s terms and are generally non-refundable.

5 Acceptable use

Please use GeoMine honestly. You agree not to:

• Spoof, fake, or simulate your GPS location, or use emulators or automation to earn.
• Create multiple or fake accounts, or earn at a business without genuinely visiting.
• Interfere with the service, attempt to breach security, or scrape data.

6 For businesses

If you list a business, you confirm you’re authorized to represent it. Subscriptions are billed monthly for your chosen tier after any free trial, and you can cancel anytime — your listing simply ends at the close of the billing period. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your hours, location, and any offers you publish.

7 Disclaimers

GeoMine is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, specific earning amounts, or that every business will always be available. Rewards are a bonus on activity you’d do anyway — not income.

8 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoMine and its team aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the past 12 months or $100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

9 Changes & termination

We may update these terms as the product grows; we’ll revise the date above and notify you of material changes. You can stop using GeoMine and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

10 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
