By accessing or using GeoMine (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. GeoMine is operated by GeoMine Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use GeoMine. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
GeoMine allows users to earn promotional GM Points by physically visiting participating businesses. By using the mining feature, you agree to:
GM Points (also referred to in earlier app versions as “coins”) are promotional creditearned through the GeoMine platform. They are not money, not a security, not a cryptocurrency, and not legal tender.
Users may redeem GM Points for branded gift cards (currently $5 Amazon, Walmart, and Target cards) subject to availability and to the following conditions:
GeoMine+ and GeoMine Pro subscribers may invite friends using a unique referral code. When a referred user's first paid subscription payment clears, both the referrer and the referee receive 500 GM Points (worth approximately $0.50 of gift-card credit each at the current 1,000-points-per-USD rate). The following conditions apply:
The streak system rewards consecutive days of mining activity with multipliers and bonuses. Streak Freezes may preserve a streak when you miss a day, subject to availability. Streak values, multipliers, and Freeze economics are subject to change with reasonable in-app notice. Milestone bonuses are granted at our discretion and may be clawed back in cases of confirmed abuse.
Mining rewards are calculated by combining multiple multipliers (subscription tier, business tier, streak, first-of-day, and new-business bonuses). To keep the program economically sustainable, the combined multiplier from all sources is capped at 10× the base mining rate per session, regardless of how many bonuses are active. Multipliers stack additively across categories (e.g. a 5× subscription tier and a 5× business tier combine to a 9× effective multiplier before any other bonuses, capped at 10× total).

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime from the in-app Settings. Refunds for partial billing periods are not provided.
Businesses appearing on the map without an active subscription earn at 0.5× the base mining rate. This keeps the map populated for discovery while reserving the full 1×–5× rates for businesses that actively partner with us. Free listings are added by our team and cannot be self-purchased; to upgrade, a business owner must claim the listing and choose a paid tier:
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly via Stripe and may be cancelled at any time from the merchant portal. On cancellation, a business reverts to the 0.5× free listing tier at the end of the current billing period and remains visible on the map.
To redeem GM Points for any reward (gift cards, vouchers), users must:
A hard $599 USD per user per rolling 365-day period redemption cap is enforced. This keeps redemptions below the IRS 1099-MISC reporting threshold and reduces administrative overhead for both parties. The oldest individual redemption rolls off the 365-day window on its first anniversary.
Business pages on GeoMine are created from publicly available information or submitted by users. Owners of a listed business may submit a claim to verify ownership and gain access to the merchant portal. Claims require proof of ownership (for example, a utility bill, business license, or verified business email) and are reviewed by our team.
Business accounts are subject to monthly subscription fees. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Earned but unspent GM Points may be forfeited in cases of terms violations.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEOMINE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TOKENS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
