Redemption Safeguards
Two safeguards protect the system:
- 7-day account age requirement: Brand-new accounts cannot redeem until they're at least 7 days old. This blocks throwaway-account fraud.
- $599 annual redemption cap: Each account can redeem up to $599 in Visa gift cards per calendar year. This aligns with standard 1099 reporting thresholds and keeps GeoMine on solid compliance footing.
Tips for Smart Redemption
- Stack milestone bonuses: Day 3 (+25 GM), Day 7 (+100 GM), Day 14 (+250 GM), Day 30 (+1,000 GM), Day 100 (+5,000 GM), plus +5,000 GM every additional 100 days (the Centurion bonus). Time your redemption right after a milestone day for a bigger payout.
- Hit the $599 cap intentionally: If you're an active daily miner, plan your redemptions across the year so you make full use of the cap.
